Hyundai Genesis 2012–A review

South Korean auto makers have made significant inroads into Europe and the Americas not to speak of Asia in the last decade. Of the major automakers, Hyundai deserves special mention. It has cemented a niche market for itself with all sizes of cars starting from a mini car to a vehicle that can comfortably fit a large family with their hold-alls. Take for instance the Hyundai Genesis series. The 2012 Hyundai Series in particular reflects the evolutionary trend that Hyundai has maintained since the Genesis series was first commercially unveiled in the New York International Auto Show in 2007. It really offers value for money as you get the feel of driving in a Bentley or Mercedes at less than half the cost.

Technical specifications
Apart from the 3.3L and 3.8L Lambda V6 and 4.6L Tau V8 which were there, Hyundai added more punch by launching a 5.0L Tau V8. It has also made significant improvements in the 3.8L and 4.6L models like the eight-speed automated transmission feature has been standardized and the tires have been refurbished. If you compare the new 2012 Genesis series with other luxury cars in its genre, it scores on every aspect-performance, style, class, power, opulence, comfort-you’ll simply run out of adjectives. In terms of price as well it is cheaper than BMW 5 Series, Mercedes-E Class, Audi V6, and the Lexus GS from Toyota.

The Hyundai Genesis 2012 scores with its 429 hp 5-liter V8 engine that is standard with R-Spec model and the V6 3.8L also packs in more than its usual 300hp due to infusion of direct fuel injection technology. That translates into better mileage, fuel economy, and less toxic emissions. As far as the chassis goes, the exterior sports a more aggressive and aerodynamic look irrespective of the angle you view it from. The wheelbase is larger compared to the 2011 Genesis series.

Interiors
The interiors have a sleeker and more opulent look but not gaudy. It’s quite roomy and you get enough leeway when you are the wheels with lots of legroom. The dashboard, seats, and doors have been done up with premium quality leather. The cushioning, leather upholstery and the shock absorbing capacity are so immaculate that you won’t feel a thing when the car negotiates a bend or goes over bumps or dividers.Be sure to take a look at 2012 Hyundai Genesis now.
